Im optimistic.. WoW!

I have become optimistic once more! For five years know i have been
very negative about our Rams and for good reason. For five years
i have hatted every decision the rams made, mostly on drafting.
But now I believe Chip really wants to turn things around. Removing
Jay and shaw topped it off for me and I really like Bill.

Here I am, a new positive optimistic BEER. Go Rams.

Now all we can hope is that the coaching decision is wise, and the commitee (I like this concept, not one idiot trying to figure things out, but 3-4 not-idiots) to do justice to the Rams franchise in making sure whatever decision it makes is a good one. Hopefully they can follow the timeline and have a decision before the end of the coming week, so that they can act on the extra staffing needs. Offensive Coordinator will be a big one, and I am afraid to want Martz back at this point. I wish that the Rams could move away from the relentless passing, and find a way to build a solid defense to win games. I like scoring points, but I find the teams with impressive defensive schemes and rosters to be more entertaining and reliable down the stretch. Look at this years playoffs. NYG, PITT, Baltimore, Philly, Titans, Minnesota. All top defenses, all made the playoffs. The teams in the playoffs that aren't "top defenses", like Arizona, that are being productive, are playing LIKE "top defenses" and thus, it leads me to believe that in the end, a good running game + defense can take a team to the playoffs, and a good defense + a good quarterback & running game wins championships.
