Obviously, it would be nice to have depth at every position. Nobody is denying that is Bradford or JL or Long goes down, we're down a significant part of the franchise.

However, a quality #2 RB would see more playing time than, for example, a #2 QB or MLB. You wouldn't see Feeley spelling Bradford just for a series, but you're more likely to see Jacobs spelling Bradshaw or Tolbert spelling Matthews. That's why I think #2 RB is of premium importance this year - as it has been just about every year since 2006.
Exactly. Thats why I said If we are able to take away 150-200 touches a year which gives him some extra life in the NFL, that's all I care about.

I agree. I think we do need an RB. But thats why I'm skeptical of taking someone as high as TRICH or even a 2nd round RB. Why take someone thats going to run the ball 6-8 times a game that high? We can roll with Caddy if thats all we want.. But I do think we need to take a young RB, let him learn behind SJAX, and be prepared just incase he goes down.

No doubt. Im saying round three. I dont have much desire for Richardson.

I don't think we need a star....I think we need some youth.....preferable with speed....

There are so many RBs that fit our need, many should be available in the 3-5 round range....

That would be ideal.....Obviously, we would all like Richardson, but with Sjax on the roster and all of our other needs...we will probably pass on this until later....

Running Backs are more often product of a good offensive scheme and system .....

There are a half dozen that are elite....but I would rather go the above route with Bradford and some new (young) weapons
