Injuries shove rookies into lineup

Two St. Louis Rams rookies are expected to make their regular-season debuts Sunday when the Redskins visit the Edward Jones Dome.

Defensive tackle Jermelle Cudjo, an undrafted rookie from NCAA Division II Central Oklahoma, is likely to be promoted from the practice squad to fill in for Clifton Ryan. Migraines have kept Ryan on the sideline this week. He also missed last Sunday's game in Oakland.

Tight end Fendi Onobun, a sixth-round draft pick out of Houston, will be active for the first time. His spot was created when Billy Bajema suffered a knee injury vs. the Raiders.

Bajema, TE Michael Hoomanawanui (ankle), DT Darell Scott (ankle) and LB Chris Chamberlain (toe) are out.

Ryan, S Craig Dahl (concussion) and WR Laurent Robinson (foot) are doubtful.
