Injury questions abound for Rams at RB

Injury questions abound for Rams at RB

    By Nick Wagoner | ESPN.com

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Rams' Friday injury report includes three running backs listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, leaving the position somewhat in flux as the game approaches.

Starter Zac Stacy took a little bit of a step back in Friday's practice as he went from full participation Thursday to limited participation Friday. He didn't practice at all Wednesday. Stacy moved around well Thursday but didn't do as much Friday though it's possible the Rams are managing the injury to ensure he'll be ready to go against the Titans.

More tenuous, it appears is backup Daryl Richardson's status. Richardson didn't practice at all Friday or Wednesday and did only limited work Thursday as he continues to deal with a nagging foot/toe injury.

Interestingly, it's undrafted rookie back Benny Cunningham who practiced in full all week but is still listed as questionable despite that participation. He's returning from an ankle injury that has kept him out the past couple of games.

Also listed as questionable is defensive end Robert Quinn, who missed the past two days because of an illness. Quinn attended the practice Friday but did not participate.

    Here's the full breakdown:

    Out: G Harvey Dahl (knee)

Questionable: Stacy, Richardson, Cunningham, Robert Quinn and Brady Quinn (hip)

Probable: OT Jake Long (knee), C Scott Wells (thigh), WR Austin Pettis (thigh), QB Kellen Clemens (shoulder), S Darian Stewart (foot), CB Brandon McGee (illness)

Of note for the Titans, linebacker Moise Fokou (knee) is out and safety Michael Griffin (quadriceps) and tackle David Stewart (shoulder) are questionable.

With everybody banged up, will Pead get some shots?

After reading the article that was my question - you beat me to it. The Rams should at least make him active tomorrow, unless of course they are fudging a bit regarding the injuries to Stacy and Richardson.

Stacy will be fine I reckon, but I'd be surprised if Pead wasn't up

Why not give me an opportunity? He's shown a decent ability in the Atlanta and Dallas games.

Stacy looked so un-fine in the last game sporting at least two injuries and DRich was hurt too! Cunningham coming off injury is not 100% as I stated in the what happens to Pead thread it has to be Peadster, or bust he is only back at 100%. Or else relase him and sign a healthy body or two! What the heck is this coaching staff flocking doing any how??? I cannot believe they are not workig Pead all week in practice seems not to be sane type thinking on their parts... imho!

Why carry a guy (Pead) if you only intend to punish him as with a limited roster it trully only punishes the team? A huge shout out WOW to the coaching staff and front office on this one!

Put Pead in and have him produce!

Let's see what happens (providing the OL performs well), let's see if he is still with the team.

Fisher often rests guys even when they're not listed as injured. We'll see....
The Pead thing is just weird. Was Rams Park built on an old Indian burial ground or something? They seem to get flatliners more often than most.
