Well, if by 'franchise QB' you are referring to a 71-52 TD ratio and a 75.7 QB rating I'd say let's wait outside the gate for Ookie (ROn Mexico?) to saunter out and maybe we can sweet talk him into a major contract?

Vick obviously won't be the same, but he'd be a great role player. Get some option in the offense, he's the only QB in the league that could run it. Slip him in at tailback, receiver...returner... I'm sure some other player will do something just as if not more stupid and everyone will have forgotten Vick. This all speculation, if you rip this post up like we've already signed Vick and are looking for a place to put him, shame on you.

Oh come on guys, don't we believe in second chances? Vick is serving his time, he should get the chance to redeem himself. I'm not excusing him for the horrendous acts he was involved with, but we all make mistakes. The Rams need a spark, and perhaps every once in awhile he could provide that. By no means will he be a replacement for Bulger, we would still need a young heir apparent. He wasn't the best QB, but he was a play maker, and at this point the Rams could certainly use even a worn down version of MV's play making.

And come on, while the whole momma's stepchild brother's friend's cousin was pretty skeptical, its a small world, after all. Are you telling me BD doesn't have friends? The man doesn't just stay cooped up in his office all the time. And sure he has ties to MV when he was at the height of his career, so its perfectly plausible that he wants to bring MV to St Louis.

He would be exciting to watch, and teams would definitely be on their toes trying to figure us out with Jax in the backfield and the receivers we have but i don't know. It would take awhile for him to get back into football shape and re-adjust to the speed of the game. What would you do with a player like him and all he's been through?
