YES! We can use all the help we can get, and having a playmaker like M. Vick can rejuvenate STL

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
Vick playing for the Rams would make me stop being a rams fan. I think he sucks on so many levels,
Bad self centered person. And I have always though of him as a bad QB also. Yes he made some plays but he screwed up even more games. With Vick the falcons never had back to back winning seasons. Its also very interesting that falcons receivers how droped the ball suddenly are able to catch the ball when the falcons have a real qb who plays the play that was called.

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
Vick was a nice sideshow for a few years , they ran the ball better than anyone but as a passer , Vick isn't the answer for us at all period. Look what Atlanta did without him and a rookie passer . NO....FRICKEN - NO NO NO.
And if the Rams did , I wouldn't be on this site or root for that team until he was gone . Same too as if O.J. Simpson was brought in as hed coach .

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
Say what you really feel NJ. That's what I miss about NJ since I moved out here, sincere, effin passion! Anyway, I totally agree with you and most of the others on this thread that Vick is a huge NO for the Rams despite our potential needs at QB or back-up QB. That low-life abuses animals and probably treats people the same way.
I'm confident that Devaney is way too smart to take that course of action for this team and all other GM's in the NFL probably feel the same. I don't even think Goodell will reinstate him too quickly after he's seen the results of allowing Pacman Jones back in.
Go Rams!

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
As a fantasy 'just to see what he could do now' I think it could be a fun idea..
Anyway, it's not like he's killed anyone..............
Oh the irony....

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
Although we could have used a QB that sould run to save his life from our OL the last few years I don't think Vick is the answer. He always seemed like he had a strong arm but was a little eratic and I always questioned his decisions.

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
Fun fact: Tony Banks has a higher career completion percentage than Michael Vick.
Even if Vick wasn't a felon, he'd still be an inaccurate quarterback who has been out of the game for two years. Even if Vick has managed to maintain an NFL calibur workout regimen while in prison, he'll still be 29 before the season starts. It won't be long before his speed starts to decline.

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
I don't think I ever heard of locker room problems with Vick, now he may have been an idiot outside the locker room, but thats beside the point. Now, I'm not saying that I think this is a good idea, theoretically it would have to be a ricky williams type deal, one hint of trouble and your gone.
Now just picture if we brought him back as a running back, QB backup. Think of the trick plays and wildcat formations we could pull off between Bulger, Vick, and Jackson. Again, I'm not saying its a good idea, but wow it could be a beautiful thing.

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
I actually feel a little bit of remorse for the guy..and I love animals. I don't agree with what he did...but I also don't agree with the punishment he got. The people who were actually going through with the violent acts on a consistent basis ended up getting less time than Michael. A normal person doing what he did would not sit in prison that long (This is a first..usually it's the other way around)..let a lone have to pay THIS kind of money in return. I definitely think he's learned his lesson and if he's still capable, I see no reason why he should not be allowed back into the league.
I'd take a chance on him. Bring him in camp. I really see no harm...unless we're worried about PETA bombing the Ed or something...which..we shouldn't be..then, why not? Doesn't mean we have to keep the guy.
I realize the chances of this happening are HIGHLY unlikely...but, it's a nice question.

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
Everyone is so anti Vick for dog killing, we just sweeping Leonard Little under the rug? It's ok, I know the flaming is inevitable. Someone has to play devil's advocate though.
How about Ray Lewis? I'm a fan, I don't think he did anything wrong, but if you have a franchise player that would find himself in that situation how do you still embrace him?
I guess what I'm saying is grow up and move on. I have dogs that I love too.

Re: Inside information from Billy Devaney himself...
Why do some people talk about Vick like he was one of the best QB's ever? The man was a bum. He has terrible stats for a QB, he couldn't throw an accurate pass to save his life, all he can do is run the ball. VICK SUCKS!
