"Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
Interesting to say the least. When asked what percentage his ankle was, he answered, "It's good enough to go right now", which doesn't ease my concerns and doesn't exactly exude confidence from Bradford.
Is it me, or does he look lethargic and disinterested in the interview?

Re: "Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
I saw that today Mike and I thought the same thing, he looked like he was out of it... but at the end he said he could not hear what they where asking. Plus I think that was really early in the AM. Bradford did not perk up until they called him out on his basketball skills, love the guys competitive spirit.
Re: "Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
My first thought was he got knocked out right before the interview. It was early in the morning. I also noticed that his eyes were scrolling and that he kept messing up on words and correcting himself. I think he may have not been able to read the response cards in front of him. You can tell when he is asked questions jokingly and he was able to respond with character. I think he just didn't get vey much sleep and had trouble hearing them and reading his cards.
It is disheartening to hear him not respond definitively to the ankle question. He may look good in practice, but if he isn't sure he's 100% ready, what should we really conclude?
Re: "Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
He looked and sounded extremely tired to me. I can imagine getting out of bed that early after running NFL level practices to answer questions you've answered 100 times is pretty tiresome.
Re: "Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
I honestly wouldn't read much in to this at all. 1. It's early morning. 2. It's a satellite shot so there is a slight delay between when we hear the questions and when he hears the questions. 3. The IFB (what he hears) can always be a little tricky, low, high, garbled, or worse hearing a producers voice talking sometimes, or even worse having mix-minus which means he hears himself on the delay.

Re: "Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
If I didn't know Sam Bradford, I'd think he's slow after seeing that. Pretty sure his "PR" guy was telling him through his mic piece what to say and he couldn't exactly hear him so he stumbled his words.
Re: "Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
If I didn't know any better I would have swore that the guy was under the influence of some sort of substance a.k.a he was high, but nevertheless as far as interviews go.....he's certainly not Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers when it comes to the mic skills department.
Re: "Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
I wouldn't think anything of it. Near the end of the interview, you can hear Bradford refer to some kind of technical trouble with the audio. Then at the end they thank him for getting up early to join them. Kid probably just woke up.
Re: "Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
I thought I was just looking to much into it but apparently I'm not alone.
Re: "Interesting" Bradford Interview On NFL Network
Pretty much my thoughts (what everybody's collectively seemed to have said), too. I was a little down in the dumps after that interview, but then I just thought, "Meh, early morning, new show, just a small interview in [rather] early August." The cynical feelings is coming from the last 8 years I suppose.

Well, you know, as long as he's willing to put the time in and work hard for the gay.
