Re: Isaac Bruce On NFL Total Access
Why even throw in a token converstation with Isaac Bruce? If you're gonna not ever show the Rams on the NFL network, then just don't show them at all.

Re: Isaac Bruce On NFL Total Access
Summary of the interview...
-Eisen asks for the 411 on Rams camp, and Bruce says they're flying under the radar, which is where they like to be. Camp is going well. Guys are in shape, lots of energy in practice. They're making sure the timing is correct on all fronts - offensive, defense, and special teams.
-Eisen asks why Bruce thinks the Rams are flying under the radar and whether or not the GSOT is dead. Bruce says he believes that defensive coordinators especially in the West would say that's not the case, but they're under the radar because they had a mediocre season by their terms last year and weren't expected to go to the Super Bowl.
-Eisen asks how this year is different, and Bruce says it's a new year, new season. They have high asperations, and this offense and defense is ready to perform. Special teams took a step forward.
-Regarding Marshall, Bruce believes Faulk has a lot left to give. He says Faulk's better prepared and better condition b/c he didn't have to go through offseason surgery this spring/summer. Marshall's smart and knows how it works in the league, how there's always someone knocking on your door. Players have to be consistent, and Marshall's shown it in his career that he can be. He's still quick, can still get in and out of hole. But Jackson's a big bruiser that can run over guys, so Bruce is excited to see him in action.
-Eisen asks if there's one person specifically that isn't being talked about that should be. On offense, Bruce says it's Kevin Curtis. He showed last year that he can be elite, can get downfield, and make plays over the middle. He's exciting to watch. On defense, Jerome Carter. He stepped in playing SS and will help out on both D and ST.
-The defensive expecations are above average, because a good defense can take you a long ways in regular and post season. Team has to continue to support each other. They're not divided into O vs. D. They're a complete unit and have to cheer each other on and hold each other accountable.
-Bruce is entering his 12th season, does he reflect? At times, but it always comes back to him not being satisfied. He's content with the past individually, but being in two SBs spoils you and you want to be one of the last two teams standing at the end of the season.
