Re: It's down to three

I want Linehan but accidently voted Rivera after I thought about it. I'd rather have an offensive coach with a great DC than a good DC with a crappy OC.

Re: It's down to three

I think the Rams FO has done a great job narrowing down the list to these 3 guys, I wouldn't be disappointed with any of them after seeing each one's resume. But my favorite has to be Linehan with Rivera a close second. My reasoning behind it is because even though the Rams have been struggling the past few years they have still been exciting to watch with their offense, win or lose. I believe the chances of losing our offense is at higher risk with Rivera than it is with Linehan but our improvement on defense could come from either coach in my opinion (not as much with Linehan than Rivera of course).

The future is looking better and better each day

linehan is my choice as well, as long as he brings in a credible defensive staff.

I agree the FO kept an open mind and did a decent job now I just hope its Linehan. He seems more ready to steer the ship as a HC. Rivera would be a good defensive minded coach but if we take away the coordinator aspect I think Linehan sounds like the better HC. He seems to be prepared and has a plan. I understand Rivera did not have as much time and originally he was my first choice but the more I have seen about Linehan the more I like him he is now my first choice.

Hmmm, looks like we might have access to the Staples Easy button on this one!

If we don't hire Rivera, we'll get Linehan.

Linehan looks like a leader; Rivera looks intimidating...

Regardless of who it is, the tension and apprehension is beginning to get to me. Pull the trigger; make the announcement!!!!!!!!!!

Re: It's down to three

I've got to go with Rivera. He brings an intensity and attitude that this team has sorely lacked the past few seasons. I dont see why anyone fears losing the offense. There is enough offensive talent there, and I'm sure that Rivera would hire someone who could use it correctly.

Besides, Rivera has Lovie's apporval. Thats good enough for me.
