Its important I post this now (at halftime), before the outcome is known
Finally, some hope...
I don't know how this game will turn out, but the Rams just played a half of football that, at least, gives us some hope. Steven Jackson, the somewhat maligned, self-appointed, team leader, has backed up his words with 99 first half rushing yards. Chris Long has his second sack (one of four by the defense). Donnie Avery made his first big play, scoring on a 37 yard run.
This half of football does not cure the Rams' problems. If the Rams hold on, it will probably mean a stay of execution for the coaching staff, but I doubt anyone thinks Linehan will survive this year.
There are still big problems.
But, for now, in two strong quarters, at least there is some hope.

I dont think it changes anything. The Coach needs to go and the players know it.

Re: Its important I post this now (at halftime), before the outcome is known
Linehan has coached is last game, why? Not that I'm with the Bulger benching, but, you have to make changes right away when you're a coach that's only won 11 of 32 games. I love Bulger but he cleary has the Happy Feet Sydrome, playing behind a subpar Offensive line. I don't leave Trent in as starter the whole season, I just leave him him in long enough for the team to gain confidence.
Being that Bulger is 32 and Trent is 38 I look to try and get QB in the draft or either a offseason trade. Who we should get I'm not sure, but we need to get someone.

Re: Its important I post this now (at halftime), before the outcome is known
The biggest problem I see is that a good performance or win may delay Linehan getting fired and allow him to destroy this team even more. I do not see that the players are responding to Linehan or his game plan. There is too much real talent on this team to be held down forever, and I think the Bills have been very lucky as opposed to really good in being 3 and 0. That is NOT to say they did not earn their wins, but only that there was some luck mixed in with good play. I also did not think that Sj was going to be stiffled forever. And you can thank his 100 yards rushing already for the offense being able to accomplish anything.
A win today adds to Linehans ability to say, "See? I benched Bulger and the team responded!" Instead of, "I got lucky and now I can spend more time trashing this team."

Right now, Green is 6-14 for 62 yards. I don't think he's the spark.

You think maybe Linehan said in the locker room at half-time "Guys, I want to thank you for saving my job."
Could explain the turnaround in the second half.
Seriously... how often have we seen this team beaten by second half adjustments?
