i've been noticing...
so far, that people keep picking against the rams special teams and saying the advantage goes to the other team...
i don't expect them to pick the rams all the time, or even right now...
but a punter that can boom it, and a kicker that hasn't missed...with decent coverage teams, don't know what they want more of lol
Week 3 W2W4: Bears-Rams - Chicago Bears - ESPN Chicago
here's the link, it's a bit...one sided to say the least

No kicker is perfect, but man it's going to be weird when young gz actually misses one...
Totally agree though, but Hester will always sway the special teams matchup in da bears favor.

Re: i've been noticing...
They do have one of the best returners of all time in, Devin Hester.

Re: i've been noticing...
As good as Hester is he's neutralized really easy. Just don't kick the ball to him. I think we can say that with a straight face this year.

Re: i've been noticing...
Not minimizing Hester at all, but the Rams' ST were a big reason they best the Skins last week. Besides Legatron being perfect again and booming kickoffs, Hecker stood on the goal line and nailed a 65 yard blast that totally reversed field position at a key moment in the game. Bradford got picked-off in the endzone and instead of "oh hell, here we go again with another collapse," Mulligan breaks through to block a punt which lead to him being doubly-rewarded as he gets a TD reception right afterwards. Huge sequence in the game right there.
I'd give CHI the advantage in return men with no argument whatsoever, but is a lot more to special teams than just returns. Rams used to have great special teams back in the 1970's and into the early part of the 1980's but a lot of years of real UGH lately. That has definitely turned around so far this year and it's a welcome sight.

So Espn is saying the rams should just say in the bus and not even show up if the bears have the advantage in every category right???
As Chris Berman says... " that's why they the game!"
