Jackson Completely Misused
Jackson was ripping it up today and the Jets had no answer, yet despite averaging 6.2 yards per carry, he was practically abandoned, getting only 13 carries the entire game. With Bradford being off all day, why wasn't Jackson allowed to carry the team as long as he could, especially when it was a close game, which it was through 3 quarters. I don't get it.

Re: Jackson Completely Misused
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing while watching today's rag unfold.
Doesn't make much sense.
How'd you like the defense?
They looked so promising coming off the win over arizona.
Since then they have just been agonizing for me to watch.
They simply can not get off the field. No forced turnovers and very few sacks.
They suck!!

Re: Jackson Completely Misused
Uh, they're really not that good?
Too many rookie mistakes in coverage, poor LB'ing, not enough pressure up the middle, and did I mention lousy coverage by the rookies? The weaknesses we thought they had before the season started are rearing their ugly head. Some really good defensive performances against some pretty average offenses early on got some of us believing they were better then they really are. This team is still a couple of years away.Faithful Rams fan since 1968

I posted in the game thread that I'd left the bar after the Richardson fumble, which I did. The "It wasn't our day" line is bull****.
It's not our year, and either is 2013. Rams are young, and not very talented. IMO, other than the Oline, we desperately need LBs that can cover, and a safety.
And personally, again IMO, Bradford's got one more year. The Oline will be OK next year, and the WRs will be better. And he really needs to quit looking for DA as the primary all the time.
I also guarantee you that Fisher is taking a hard look at Schotty, and I pray we're getting a real DC next year, and I hope it's Williams.
As usual, even knowing all this, it's still painful to watch. And maybe next year, the F'n ball will bounce OUR way just once, and the refs will quit hatin' on us. ;-)
