Is Jackson happier with Linehan?
I seem to remember Jackson talking about how he did not like his previous coaches style. The Rams went from Faulk who was more of a receiving scat back to Jackson who was more of a power back. Do you think Jackson had reason to be upset with his previous coach. Do you think he was utilized poorly or do you think Jackson was just a complainer and they used him properly?

Re: Is Jackson happier with Linehan?
Does it matter? So Jackson is happier with Linehan.....is Holt? Bruce? Bulger? The O line? The D?
NO. They aren't. Jackson's contract is up after this year anyway, wouldn't be surprised if the Rams pulled a sign and trade Jackson and draft McFadden.

Well, I feel it's more important to have Bruce, Holt and Bulger buy into your strategies than let's say....Chavous.

Re: Is Jackson happier with Linehan?
If you have a point to make, and I strongly suspect that you do (maybe about something that rhymes with Finelan) - why don't you just make the damn point in a single post like everybody else does? Instead of spamming the forum with 50 different polls that are supposed to gradually lead us to guessing your point.

Re: Is Jackson happier with Linehan?
This was the first thing that came to my mind. If there is a point to make just make it. Just because Bulger and Jackson had their best career years last year doesnt make Loserhan a good coach. You want to see good coaches look at teams that consistantly make the playoffs year after year. If your going to compile all of your poll data to use it against S.L.O.P. it isnt going to convince anyone that we are glad he's staying. I still wish they would fire him.Just Fix It

Re: Is Jackson happier with Linehan?
The last "fire Linehan?" poll had a 79% "yes" vote. I don't think you're going to change anyone's mind by trying to break it down into discrete questions about the 2007 team. We are all aware of the problems. Its just that most of us don't think Linehan handled the problems well.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

I've also noticed he refuses to use the words "Mike Martz."

Yes. Jackson is happier with Linehan. Linehan rules. Martz is evil.

Re: Is Jackson happier with Linehan?
He probably is. However, happier is a relative term. I think there's a decent chance that he will decline to sign an extension with the Rams (if offered) and bolt town for some place with a better front office and coach after this year.
