Jackson Injury Update PostGame
Steven Jackson told reporters after Sunday's game that his previously strained groin "felt fine" during and following the Rams' Week 4 win over Seattle.
Jackson admitted that he's not at full speed, but said there was "no way" he was going to miss the Rams' biggest game since 2006. He added that he "felt fine" afterwards, which was probably his biggest obstacle after the adrenaline wore off. S-Jax had 124 total yards on 25 touches, so the Rams couldn't have been too concerned about the injury. He should be ready to start in Week 5 at Detroit. Oct. 3 - 5:40 pm et

Lets see how he practices and then we can decide whether that groin injury will carry on throughout the season.

This is great news. I was a bit concerned on the log play where Jackson slowed down and got caught, but if he says he feels fine, so do I.

If his groin was bad he wouldn't have been cutting like he was. To be able to get a nearly 50 yard play which was all his running, despite carrying the injury, is amazing

Re: Jackson Injury Update PostGame
Exactly. Watching the game I was concerned about that injury (I had hoped he wouldn't play today) and then wondered how he felt after the game.
As you said, however, let's see how he really feels tomorrow and during the week. Got to get those trainers to earn their pay and help Jax heal. // Thanks for the update Alec.

If a team won their division seven straight times, that would be a NFL record. Now add on that team did it with seven different QB's in seven straight years, that record is unbeatable. To do that feat, you must of had a great Defense. Jack Youngblood was the captain of that defense.

Jackson is a very passionate player... Shows on and off the field. I'm glad that his injury is not getting to him mentally either!
