Jackson, Little, Carriker Questionable
Friday, October 31, 2008

Three important Rams will be game time decisions on Sunday against Arizona but there was cause for optimism on the practice field Friday afternoon.
Running back Steven Jackson (thigh), defensive end Leonard Little (hamstring) and defensive tackle Adam Carriker (ankle) are listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report and that is what they are though Friday’s practice revealed plenty of clues about their status.
Jackson did a little more in the workout though he didn’t go full speed and he didn’t take a ton of repetitions.
Indications are that Jackson is going to try to play but he’s probably more in doubt than Carriker or Little.
“It’ll be the same,” coach Jim Haslett said. “We’ll work him out right before the game and hopefully he can go.”
The outlook for Carriker and especially Little is better. Little surprisingly practiced for most of Friday’s workout and he looked particularly good in pass rush drills.
Signs are pointing to Little playing against the Cardinals.
“They’re the same and I felt better about Leonard today than all of them, but we’ll see how they all go,” Haslett said.
Carriker also did a lot of work in the practice and it looks like he’ll play as well.
The rest of the injury report is unchanged. Cornerback Tye Hill (knee) is questionable though he’s likely to be available.
Receiver Drew Bennett (foot) and safety Todd Johnson (kidney) are out.

Carriker is probably a bigger deal to this D than we may think...
Good to see he's playing.

Re: Jackson, Little, Carriker Questionable
I think having Little play is the key to this game. We all know we need to pressure Warner to win, if we have both Long and Little the Arizona O-line are going to have a lot of trouble stopping our pass-rush. Little has looked sharp when healthy lately, it's a damn shame he's nagged by those injuries now. Keeping my fingers crossed he'll play this game.

We could use all three of these guys this week. Let's keep our fingers (and toes) crossed.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!
