Jackson says he is fine

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson (ribs, knee) had an MRI earlier in the week and it showed just a muscle strain in his ribs. Jackson said he was feeling much better and the injury had loosened up. In regards to his previous knee injury, Jackson noted it is not even an issue at this time even though he is still rehabbing it. He said the team is still treating it as an injury, but it has been feeling great. Jackson does not plan to wear a flak jacket to protect his ribs and plans to play against the Atlanta Falcons during the second round of the playoffs.
