Jackson sits out practice

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson sat out practice today.

Jackson had surgery Monday to repair a broken ring finger on his left hand. Jackson was injured Sunday at Tampa Bay.

Also on the sideline today were CB Justin King (hamstring), S James Butler (knee), DT Fred Robbins (toe), DT Darell Scott (ankle) and S Darian Stewart (hamstring).

he'll be ok. I just hope that this won't affect his pass catching ability.

Precautionery measure in my opinion. I fully expect to see the "BEAST" in the backfield Sunday.
