Good term Shower. I'll modify it a bit, and maybe it can become a gameday term; if it isn't already.

    How about Scoop-6 vise Pick-6?

If he continues to learn from his mistakes I can see him being a new Revis/Aso

The kid gives up plays, but he's still a play-maker. He will only get better. One min I'm like, "come on Jenkins how you give that up." The next min I'm like, "JENKINS!!!!". The bad plays will comes but the kid has talent.

Jenkins was also the guy that came off the corner blitz that forced the pass in the endzone for the safety.

I think he has the makings of a great CB once he learns from his mistakes. His takling is suspect too but I imagine that will improve as well.

Jenkins and Givens, meet the Whiners. they did not see you last time. Bet they wished they did not see you this time. Bright future with those two.

Three TDs in two weeks? Don't see many guys do that!
For sure! TDs in two consecutive games. Looks like JJ is our 'Offense Plan-B' version.

    Re: janoris jenkins

A came across a tweet, cant remember who it was, possibly Mike Sando, but they said the reason was because of the poor coverage/help our safeties had been providing up to this point. Perhaps the coach didnt want the Cb's being out in a difficult situation where the bigger recievers beat the press aand give up a huge play, Another thing is that it keeps the corners at home and in a comfortbale distance to attack anything infront of them. This also also helps the safeties worry about those Two beast TE's the Niners have...

^ our safeties are really bad. Dahl is just awful in coverage and Mikell is clearly past his prime. This obviously needs to be a focus in the offseason.

I thought this may be the case. Because they can't rely on the safeties to cover, the CBs can't press or play too hard underneath because they could get killed over top. A five yard pass is better than a 30 yarder!

That's a good point. I can't recall Kap throwing the ball deep much yesterday. Once to Davis maybe, but overthrown with decent coverage.

    Re: janoris jenkins

as soon as we have some quality Safeties (there`s atleast 4 of which i would love to have 2 of coming out in April) our CB`s can be more in the face of the WR`s and a true pass rushing UT and our D will truly become elite and for years to come.

    Re: janoris jenkins

He has made a lot of plays this year:

Lions game he picks off a pass at the goal line taking points off the board.
Skins games he lights up a the skins TE causing a dropped pass...scoop and score (called incomplete).. the message is sent!
He blocks a FG against the Jets.
Two picks 6 in one game.
Recovers the fumble for a TD Sunday at the most critical time of the game.
The first game against AZ he played Larry Fitzgerald and held his own, when they had their QB.

    He's just getting started!

    Re: janoris jenkins

The most impressive part is that he lines up against #1 WR's a ton of the time. Remember our first game vs the Cardinals? The guy lined up on Fitz at least 70% of the time. Finnegan goes to the slot so often now, it leaves Jenkins out there on top of amazing WR's with Craig Dahl helping him in coverage...

Yesterdays game wasn't bad. He was told to play off-coverage and he did so. He allowed a few 5 or 10 yard catches here or there but guess what? The Niners managed to score 13 points..

Janoris has the potential to be one of the best, if not the best Rams CB, ever. Hopefully he can continue down the right path and continue to progress at a rapid pace.

And just for the record, I'd take JJenkz over Claiborne, Kirkpatrick, or Stephon Gilmore any day and twice on Sunday. That is all.
