    That's good news!

Rams agreed to terms with No. 39 overall pick CB Janoris Jenkins on a four-year, $5 million contract.
The deal includes $3.1 million guaranteed. Per the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Jim Thomas, that's the highest percentage of guaranteed money for any second-rounder. It's unclear what, if any, protective language is included in the deal. One of the draft's most gifted but troubled talents, Jenkins could immediately emerge as a starter opposite RCB Cortland Finnegan if he's truly moved beyond his myriad off-the-field issues. He'll be a player to monitor closely in Rams camp. Jul. 24 - 10:05 pm et

There was someone in the "Jenkins holdout" thread (forgot the exact name), that said the rams were probably stringing him alone on purpose so he wouldnt have a pocket full of money and go buy 1000lbs of weed (ok he didnt say that exaclty but u get the point) and get in trouble before training camp.... He needs rep points for that!

Jenks will be under the hot magnifying lens for a while. Let's hope it will light up a fire in him but that he won't get burned.

Excellent news, glad he will be in camp on time. Most rookies don't realize how important that first camp is until they come late and realize the learning curve isn't that easy.

I wonder who blinked first? Regardless, I'm glad it all got worked out and we can start camp on a positive note.

    Here ya go ..

"Could it be the Rams are dragging their feet intentionally here in order to delay JJ getting his hands on a big chunk of money via signing bonus? Pure speculation on my part, but if he got his money today, he'd have sixteen days to go on a spending spree on whatever before he is required to show up with the rest of the rookie class."

I'm sure glad that's over and right on time. Jenkins and Finnegan, I love it.
