I was excited to come home to this news today. After trying the unproven coordinator route a couple of times, I'm looking forward to seeing what a proven head coach can do for St. Louis.

Next on the docket... GM AND COACHING STAFF, ASSEMBLE!!!!!

I have not come across anything yet, but considering the Dolphins would have given him that title, plus we don't have a GM yet leads me to think that at the very least, Fisher is going to have a BIG say at who we hire. Am I off line here?

Boy, it didnt look good there for a while. I am so happy he decided to come to the Rams rather than the dolphins. He has a proven track record. I cant wait to see who he hires for his staff.

Although, I loved coach Spags and Billy D. It is time to move on. I wish them well. The future is looking bright.

I think their still ironing out the details Hawk. His record in the draft isn't the best, I know. I hope he gets better support in the draft room in St.Louis.?

I definitely thought we were out of this race. Now, we can potentially lock up a few great FAs (hopefully including Lloyd). I can't wait to see who we hire as the next GM.

Sadly, the oddest thing about this whole Jeff Fisher/Dolphins/Rams affair was the amount of news that included the RAMS. like national coverage news. I actually saw the Rams name pop up on the msn.com main page once or twice. crazy. here's to hoping the "odd" feeling becomes normal as the Rams get some W's...

I'm satisfied. Head coach with previous experiance. Hopefully everbody will be calmer with the future coach signings and player transactions coming down the pike.
