Hey, it could be the next D.Rich.....you know the Jets are looking to do something with S.Hill hurt and Holmes out 6 weeks...

I don't think Jets are trading any Olineman, they are having their own issues...but when a team is pushed against a wall, they will trade late draft picks..

Don't see a reason to trade a guy who is producing on the field for someone who may not even make the team next year on the very slight chance you find someone better.

Wasn't he just like the hero? Has he already fallen so far that we would decimate our WR corp even further for a pick that won't help us this year or next?

Why ? Because he had a miscommunication with Sam that led to a pick ? Not even sure that he was the one who screwed up; looked like he would have walked into the EZ for a TD again if Sam had been on the same page. The guy is The Rams' 2nd leading WR right now & essential,imo, to keeping the offense moving until Quick hopefully gets up to speed.

Maybe he becomes redundant after the season but not now unless a trade brings a player the Rams need now like the Jason Smith deal did.

anyone who thinks Gibson has played well has not watched the games. He's constantly getting jammed at the line of scrimmage, running poor routes, missing adjustments and on and on and on.

Dude is average at best. I wouldn't trade him because with our receivers average/mediocre is better than most of what we have. Plus Quick and Givens are not ready to be consistent contributors.

In any game? He looked pretty good in 2/4, which is as you say better than what else we have.

I wouldn't trade Gibson for a 7th...no way! We need chemistry on offense and Gibson has been one of Sams favorite targets. Now if this question came up at the end of the season or Givens/ Quick all of sudden get it...then I would give it some thought.

Yeah I would have to say no to that one as well... I'd trade Smith for a 7th :D
