    Jim Caldwell for QB coach...

Would be a great hire IMO and I'm sure he and Fisher are friends.

Just recently fired after being Indys HC for three years

Dungys QB coach in Tampa and Indy.

    Thoughts?

This may just be my bias, but I don't like Caldwell. I feel like he's rode dungy's coat tails his whole career. What qbs did he develop in Tampa? He didn't get to Indianapolis until 2002I when Manning was already putting up big numbers. So I'll pass.

Guy was there long enough to teach a backup and yet they couldn't get it done. Pass

Needless to say, his work with QBs not named Peyton Manning doesn't impress me. I'd take a pass.

I think I'll trust Fisher and our new OC to make that decision.
    THOLTFAN81 and 39WillRunYaOva like this.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

100% agree. Just throwing his name into the ClanRam pot.

It would be a pretty big step down from Head Coach of what until recently has been a good team to Assistant Coach for QBs here.

That's what happens when your team performs so poorly

Still, he might prefer to look for an offensive coordinator position or even a high level college position before staking his redemption on how successful he is at developing one particular quarterback. If he were to come here, and for whatever reason, Bradford didn't live up to his potential, Caldwell's reputation would suffer.

Raheem Morris went from promising "youngry" head coach of the Bucs to DB coach of the Redskins. It's not that radical of a drop at all. The question would be, will he coach this year, essentially for free (since his contract will still be paid), or just sit it out?

Also, I second the motion about his questionable training of non-hall of fame QB's. If he was that good, he should have pulled out more than 2 wins when the problem came from a lack of quarterbacking and a system that needed said good quarterbacking. Pass.
    I believe!

I don't see it happening. It would be strange to go from HC back to QB coach.

Fisher mentioned in his press conference that he wasn't going to rush into signing any coaches so it doesn't sound like we'll know anything for awhile on any of the positions.
