Jim Thomas: Steussie signed, Travis Taylor cut

It's in today's chat.

Jim Thomas: As I mentioned in an earlier post, a lot depends on the health of the centers. If McCollum and Romberg are both ready to go, maybe McCollum switches to guard, which allows the Rams to put Steussie at right tackle. We'll see how they line up when the practice week starts Wednesday.
By the way, Steussie officially signed on Tuesday, with WR Travis Taylor cut to make room for Steussie on the 53-man roster.

Re: Jim Thomas: Steussie signed, Travis Taylor cut

I've picked him up and cut him many times in FF. It's a shame really, he was so good at Florida. He played on the National Championship team and caught 15 TD's in only 11 starts. Unfortunately he seems to be a product of the Spurrier system.

I'll go with RAMarkable on this one... much more of a hardly knew thee and wish we hadn't. If we run 5 wide I'd rather have Holt, Bruce, Bennett, Hagans, and Hall.

Re: Jim Thomas: Steussie signed, Travis Taylor cut

It is important to note that Taylor did not embarass himself or the team during his tenure with the Rams.
