I thought Mornhinweg was calling the plays there these days.

In any case, they run the ball a little more than people give them credit for. They're around middle of the pack in rushing attempts, but their strength is using their RB in the passing game along with their QB. They don't have the personnel to pound the rock.

I'd guess that one of the reasons Spags likes Shurmur is because they shared similar philosophies when they coached together with the Eagles. So he knows what he'd be getting with him.

Shurmur: "Now Marc, in order to throw a good dirt ball like McNabb, you have to do it like this."

The Eagles will tell you that Mornhinweg is in charge of the play calling once in a while, but they said the same thing about Childress and we see how his team plays offense now that he is on his own. My only point is that just because Shurmer is from Philly doesn't mean he will pass on every play.

I Have always felt we shouldnt of let martz go in the first place but having him and spags together would be a kinda mirror image of the good ol days of Martz and Lovie but i know it will never happen for 2 reasons 1 martz was already fired from this Team and 2 Spags probably isnt a fan of the wild and high flying martz offense so its only a dream
    Torry Holt Dont play that
