    Jordan and Morris both out as well

    "NFL.com reports that New England running back LaMont Jordan aggravated his calf injury Wednesday and is unlikely to play Sunday for the third straight week."

    Sammy Morris is expected to miss two-to-three weeks with a knee injury, according NFL.com.
    Undrafted rookie Benjarvus Green-Ellis and Kevin Faulk to split carries until he returns."

    While on the surface this report looks promising for the Rams, let us not forget that we have had severe troubles with unknown and nondescript back up running backs for years now. Let's hope that the Rams play these guys just as hard as if Maroney and Morris were healthy and in the line up.
    I believe that we are improving under Haslett but we are not to the point where we can take anybody for granted.

    That's good news, especially since Carriker looks to be out. However, any NFL RB can can get good yardage if his OL opens up big holes for him, so our DL still needs to do its part.
