Just Thinking The Unthinkable Outloud
Dirty Saints players you say? Last season was one of the worst for RAMS fans. We were never so bad - and we managed to defeat the mighty, head-hunting Saints. Looking back it seems like we whooped them handily too. I was ready then for us to take our ass kickin, but I guess anything can happen on any given sunday. Right?
Well my question is if the saints played dirty, and other teams are dirty too I know, but couldn't it be possible that a few of those dirty players could have somehow "dialed down" the intensity just enough to, I don't know, like, lose?
"Say it ain't so, Joe" It's just one game along the way. I'm not a conspiracy guy, but.....It's big money.

That was AJ Feley's one and only good game as a Ram.

Re: Just Thinking The Unthinkable Outloud
The problem with the Saints D using the bounty system against the Rams is that there is clearly only one player on the Rams O that you would want to try and injure and take out of that game. And the problem is that the player is Steven Jackson.
During that Saints game, I think Jackson was so pumped up to win he would have carried on playing with a broken leg. The bounty system was, in effect, useless against the Rams

Re: Just Thinking The Unthinkable Outloud
I don't really understand why the Saints would have done this. Because we were so pathetic that they didn't think it was necessary? Seems to me if you're dirty, you'll be dirty against everyone- even the bad teams.

Re: Just Thinking The Unthinkable Outloud
I think it's embarrssing they didn't play dirty against us. Will we ever get respect again?
The orginization should file a complaint with the league.
Seriously, no one thinks some Saints players might have thrown this game?Patient, not saintly.

Re: Just Thinking The Unthinkable Outloud
I think the Saints players had a meeting on the grassy knoll and decided that losing a game to the rams would somehow help their playoff seeding, thereby improving their chances of winning another super bowl. At the conclusion of the meeting, the players watched a video describing how the moon landing was really a scam, just an optical illusion for TV (which believe it or not is a view shared by Marshall Faulk).

Re: Just Thinking The Unthinkable Outloud
Your 100% right. If your willing to things that are not allowed by rule, what makes u think they did not, or would not practice other things such as gambling? Were all human, and we all break the laws. And yes even going 5 miles over the speed limit is breaking the law.
