Just wanted to stop by and say I take back all those terrible things I ever said about Mike Martz. That guy is an offensive genius!!!!!

I allways hated the guy when he was coaching the Rams, but that was probably because he was coaching them to victories over the Niners. Well, we shall see what he can do, but I just wanted to officially take back all those insults I had for him when he coached those great Rams teams back in the day. Good luck in your search for a OC....

My brother is a whiners fan and I was joking with him that they would announce Martz's hiring and Smith's release in the same press conference. Even my brother, who has in the past insisted Smith is a good QB, but just needed a good line and some WR's, now agrees he's a bum and needs to be shown the door. I would be shocked to see Smith starting on opening day.
