Justin Medlock has permission to seek trade

Quote:
The first kicker selected in last year's draft was Justin Medlock, who was cut by Kansas City after missing a 30-yard field goal on the first drive of the season. Medlock is now in St. Louis, stuck behind the league's highest-paid kicker in Josh Brown. He has received permission to seek a trade. The Broncos are interested, but not at the expense of a draft pick.
From the Denver Post via Rotoworld

After the signing of Brown i completely forgot Medlock was on the roster, but with a few teams, Denver being one of them, completely lacking anything at the kicker position, and with so few options in the draft, we might be able to get a very very late round pick for him. But since he is obviously going to be cut at some point i dont know if anyone will actually bother to pull such a trade.

Not at the expense of a draft pick, eh? Well, what do they suggest, hmm? I guess we could settle for Champ Bailey, but I'm not to sure about that.

I'm guessing that they'd like to trade for some straight up cash as opposed to a player of any kind, as I'd have to imagine a 7th rounder would mean less to them than a player. How about a box of steaks for every ClanRam member?

Who? just kidding I would have said we could've gotten the last compensatory pick, but we have that and it is not tradeable either
