Ka-pow!!....bam!!.....ker-splat!!

Best tackle/hit made by Ram player in your viewing era...

Ok..ok..ok. 'The Tackle' for what it represented. Right that's that one out of the way...

But.......(sneers to oneself!!)

For satisfaction of really watching a Ram clean someones clock, my favourite 2 as I say, in my era and that I saw ) are;...

1. Devin Bush going horizontal over the middle to knock out some New Orleans number 3 reciever (Can't remeber his name) knocked him out cold for a good 5 minutes) They replayed it about 8 times.

2. Toby Wright on Jerry Rice down the sideline at the TWA around 1996-97. This one demostrated both players intensity. Wright's utter hatred of, and desire to physically kill Rice on the hit and nail him through the floor....which he did. AND Rice's desire to hold onto the ball and do his job for his team....which he did. . . . . . . .Wright was ejected shortly after for pushing a referee.

There are probably a ton that were before my time, or indeed a ton that I have missed.

But hey, the floors youre's as they say.... So tell me about some.

:r

Good one Ntch! :bash:

My RAM ("ram access memory") is just starting to warm-up with a Rams stampede so I'll get back to you on this scene. Can't wait to read more Ram knockouts too!

Re: Ka-pow!!....bam!!.....ker-splat!!

How about a turning-the-tables hit... Mike Rumph learns the hard way - don't try to arm tackle Steven Jackson.

When Billy Jenkins lit up the Baltimore QB (was that Banks). He smacked him.

Re: Ka-pow!!....bam!!.....ker-splat!!

I'm sure it was Jenkins who also lit up Jeff George in the play-offs in 1999. Came on a stunt with London Fletcher. I'm not sure, it was either Fletcher or Jenkins that nailed George. . . .real crowd pleasing stuff that one was !!!

Re: Ka-pow!!....bam!!.....ker-splat!!

It was either Dexter Coakley or Chris Claiborne on Jerramy Stevens of the Seahawks.

Here are a couple or three from the past that I always enjoy seeing! :bash:

NFL Video Galleries ...May need to select 'Fields of Glory' from bottom of screen.

Re: Ka-pow!!....bam!!.....ker-splat!!

Rams/Steelers Super Bowl....Lynn Swann goes down the sideline in the 2nd quarter and Bradshaw heaves one up....Swann goes up high to make the reception and in comes either Rod Perry or Pat Thomas (can't remember which one) and hits Swann's legs when he's at the top of his jump. Swann cartwheels in midair and lands right on his head (mild concussion) and exits the game. He cames back later after clearing the cobwebs.

Thanks for link RealRam....I love watching The Deacon at work!

This discussion cannot be complete without Dick "Night Train" Lane...
