    Key match up this weekend

One of the most fun match ups for the weekend should be St. Claire against Little. If Little doesn't get at least 3 sacks I will be surprised.

St. Claire's biggest weakness was the outside speed rush...Little's MO, outside speed rush. It should also help that St. Claire is not 100%. Little should be licking his chops!!!

He's been practicing and the dulfins said that he will probably start. Vernon Carey is behind him on the depth chart, a rookie.

I was just about to say that if St. Clair is starting, what does it say about the talent behind him?

Personally, i think whoever grant williams is blocking, i believe jason taylor, is what I view as the key matchup.

Believe it or not, Williams could do okay against Taylor. Williams has had real problems with "power rushing" DEs. Taylor is a speed rusher.

    AV:
I don't think Greg Spires is considered to be a "power rusher"--he's simply not big enough. However you could make a case for Charles Grant as a "bull-rusher". Anyway, regardless of the category, Mr. Williams is getting torched by all types of DE's.

    WHAT SAY YE?

Spires is listed at 265 on a relatively short 6'1 frame. Taylor, by contrast, is 255 lbs on a 6'6 frame.

But its not just a matter of size, its a matter of style. Spires and Grant both managed to drive Williams back toward the QB.

Taylor is more likely to try to go around Williams. That's his style. I think Williams will do a better job this week.

Still, I'd like to see Martz move the pocket a bit to try and mask Williams from danger.

Same here. The Dolphins have the number one passing defense in the NFL (122.7 ypg) and they will have the Rams on grass. Keeping them honest with the running game will be a key factor.

    Amen, Jake.

    You listening, Martz?

Actually Jason Taylor comes from the right side (Pace's side on offense), unless they made a switch I don't know about. David Bowens, who's been battling injury will be going up against Grant Williams.

I think they move Taylor around, as we are now doing with Little, so you can expect to see him lined up against Williams at times. I doubt they'd leave him to be eclipsed by Pace all day.

Our OT/DE Vs. their DE/OT. Certainly interesting matchups.

Moving towards the inside, is OG Dishman ready to return as starter Vs. Dolphins?
