Richie Incognito was running with the first team at left guard as the Rams began their minicamp Friday, June 9. Incognito moved ahead of last year's rookie starter, OL Claude Terrell, during OTAs or organized team activities held between minicamps. "I'm working hard, learning the plays, trying not to make too many mistakes," Incognito said. "Trying to make no mistakes. I'm just going to do my thing and work hard and we'll see when training camp comes around." Incognito is making his move while Terrell (wrist) recuperates from surgery on his right wrist. Rams | M. Faulk contemplating retirement

R.B. Fallstrom, of the Associated Press, reports St. Louis Rams RB Marshall Faulk (knees) is not attending the team's final minicamp this weekend while contemplating retirement because of knees that have been slow to recover from offseason cleanup surgery. Ram's head coach
Scott Linehan said Friday, June 9, that two weeks ago Faulk, who has undergone numerous such surgeries on both knees, expressed his concerns. Linehan said Faulk's agent, Rocky Arceneaux, told him again on Thursday, June 8, that Faulk "wasn't physically ready to go." Linehan said under the circumstances that he didn't mind Faulk not at least attending the meetings at the minicamp to pick up the new offense. Linehan reasoned that if Faulk had attended the camp, he would have wanted to participate even though he's not ready. Linehan said Faulk's decision has nothing to do with a change in coaching staffs. Linehan said he hasn't begun to address the running back situation if Faulk decides to retire.
