Rams | Martz May not Coach Sunday

Adam Schefter, of NFL.com, reports St. Louis Rams head coach Mike Martz is in such a weakened state that it will be difficult for him to coach from the sideline Sunday, Oct. 9, against the Seattle Seahawks. Martz could do it, and will want to do it, but it's likely that doctors will prevent him from doing it. Interim coach/assistant head coach Joe Vitt could have an expanded role not just at Wednesday and Thursday's practices, but also on game day. This is an arrangement that could last two to three weeks, which would cover games against Seattle, at Indianapolis and against New Orleans.

Nick Wagoner, of StLouisRams.com, reports St. Louis Rams DL Leonard Little (foot) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 5, but was not listed on the team's injury report. Assistant head coach Joe Vitt said Little has soreness in his foot, but should be fine.

I agree Rambo maybe he could do it from the box.
This could be very interesting if someone else winds up coaching on game day for three games. It will be interesting because MM loves calling the plays for the offense. If he is unable to call the plays and someone else calls the plays and the Rams do good then there might be even more people calling for MMs head. This is how people lose jobs the team although 2-2 this year has struggled. If someone comes in and the team does good for three games regardless if it has anything to do with the coach or the team just coming together people will start wondering even more then they are now about replacing MM.

Does this mean Steve Fairchild will finally be allowed to call the plays? I know I don't want Vitt doing it.
