Why did we even bring in Justin Medlock? Was there anyone who thought that he was going to take the job away from brown?

I thought we got him last season incase Jeff Wilkins retired.

He's a camp leg, he's been in camp a couple times. It's so we save Josh Browns leg for the regular season. No kidding we're not going to sign a kicker to the biggest contract a K's ever seen, and give his job to a camp leg.

We can't trade him, but I see nothing in playing him. With Jackson on the field, with some Holt, Avery, Burton, Looker, with no huddle should really shake things up.

Well, I called Giles getting cut. Medlock makes sense too, though he's good enough we might have been able to get a low rounder for him from someone...

Medlock was signed before Brown. The kid has talent. Eventually he will probably make it on to an NFL team, which was our thought when signing him. Unfortunately for him, we signed Josh Brown, rendering him useless to us. That being said, it was not a bad idea for us to sign a talented young kicker in hopes that he could potentially replace Wilkins. Luckily for us, we got Brown in the end, a proven kicker with a strong leg who is money in the clutch. That being said, Medlock was not a bad signing. Competition brings out the best in everybody. No harm, no foul.

Yeah no real surprises. I think it would be impossible to trade Medlock because the whole league knows we'll start Brown and that there's no way we carry 2 kickers on our roster. He's not bad though, I agree.

Oh yeah and Owens is deadweight for sure. But he's a FOSL so you never know if he steals a spot on the final roster, it's 50/50 I think. Hopefully he's gone.
