lance briggs to the rams
I think lance briggs is a free agent. Is it within the realm of possibility that we would make a run at him. He will get big money, is he worth it?

Re: lance briggs to the rams
Hell yeah GC!!!
That would give us Pisa, Witherspoon and Briggs...not bad
Now find us a tackle or 2 and a safety

Re: lance briggs to the rams
but is briggs just a product of the system that Lovie uses and plays with the best linebacker in the league in brian urlacher or an actual bonafide playmaker on defense

Re: lance briggs to the rams
This offseason he is a free agent, and I'm pretty sure I read that the Bears don't have enough Cap Room to sign him thus having to let him go.

Re: lance briggs to the rams
I don't think that the Rams can afford to sign Briggs. He will get a deal like Spoon and that is a lot of money to invest in your LBs. We can't hand another 30 million dollar contract to a LB.
The money should be spent on the DL and we should sign or draft a big run stuffing SLB.

Re: lance briggs to the rams
The only team he's going to be suiting up for is Chicago. I was watching the bears vs. pats game. They love him too much. He is getting the franchise tag. And that is if they don't get a long term deal with him done first.

Re: lance briggs to the rams
Mom brought up an interesting point.
Yes, we will have cap room, but more importantly, who would be sacrificed?
Green or Eric Moore?Super Bowl Champions 2013!

Re: lance briggs to the rams
The Rams should target DT Tommy Kelley of the Raiders he is 26, 6'6" 300lbs. and is strong in both phases of the game.
He is a RFA, but as long as the Raiders don't give hime a st round tender he should be a priority target.

Re: lance briggs to the rams
Before we signed Little I believe we had $31mil in Cap Room for this Offseason, and I bet we still have around $22mil which will be enough.I don't think that the Rams can afford to sign Briggs. Re: lance briggs to the rams
I think the Rams will try to get him, Brandon Chillar hasnt done much this with around 40 tackles.. he isnt doing much like Will Witherspoon who has around 80 tackles. He was a ball hawk just a couple of minutes ago against the patriots,
Lance Briggs has 70 tackles in 10 games not including todays with 1 int and 1 sack
