*Rookie LB James Laurinaitis showed his enthusiasm early, taking down RB Chris Ogbonnaya during a drill that ostensibly was to include no tackling.
Kinda reminds me of Daniel Bateman, Jon Favreau, as the middle linebacker in Replacements.
"Get you the ball! GET YOU THE BALL!!"
"Danny, we don't hit the guys in the red jerseys." "Sorry coach, couldn't help myself".
Bateman: I just see that red, I want to hit it, like a bull, you know.
Falco: Red means stop!
Bateman: Like a street light, right? (extends hand) Come on, get on up.
Falco: No, I'm alright. I'm just going to lie here, and gather my thoughts.
Bateman: Work s**t out, huh?
Coach: Just be glad he's on our side.
Just as long as he's taking down someone that isn't a projected starter, I'm all for his enthusiasm.
And I'd love it if he plays like Bateman!
