He hit a wall the past couple games,but today he just pushed through it!!!LEGATRON for PREZ lol,but seriously cant say enough about this kid he has nerves of steel.He had missed the last 4/5 kicks before the one that sent it into OT.And then he makes the game winner to boot,we found something special in this kid.

Wanna know something crazy? That missed 58 yards happened right near me. That thing was 5-6 rows up had the net not been there. I wouldn't hesitate to say it would've been good from 65+.

Definitely was concerned about the slump he went through, but he has totally redeemed himself. I think the take-away is that this isn't a playoff year (barring the miracle finish), so we can afford to just let this kid get used to kicking these 50+ yarders and next year he should be even better.

I think not only will he tie that record. He will take it and put up 9 or 10 to end the season. Stamp it down.

For kickers its all about self confidence. I was never worried about GZ, even with the 35yard miss against the cards. I was 100% sure he would be back and he was. Plus he is a rookie so its expected, now if my kicker was Akers, I would be very much worried.

I think this is the absolute perfect thing to happen for him. Hitting over 50 to tie then over 50 to win. Hoping and am damn sure he has his confidence back; and like Morten Anderson on that list, he will be in the NFL preferably the Rams for the next 15-20 years
