Leonard Little Legal Status Update Please
Does anyone know the upcoming legal dates for leonard little? Is there a trial date as of yet? Any shot that this could stretch out another full year?

Re: Leonard Little Legal Status Update Please
You know, about a week ago, I tried to get this information. I went on-line to the court's website, but it only had probate dockets on line. I then e-mailed Little's attorney and asked if he would give out non-confidential information (i.e. court date) to a Rams website - no response.
I seem to recall reading somewhere that he's scheduled to go to trial late this month, but I have not been able to confirm this.

Perhaps Howard or Barry would know. Does anyone have a conduit into them?

Re: Leonard Little Legal Status Update Please
All I know is that Balzer said that the Rams would know well before the draft whether Leonard Little would be available to them.

One thing i can assure you is that Little will have the best defense money can buy. He is spending all the extra money he saved from not hiring a driver on the night in question to hire what i am sure is a premier attorney. Any of the other lawyers out there have the Martindale Hubbel bio available?

Re: Leonard Little Legal Status Update Please
I have hired Bryan Cave a couple of times as outside counsel. Believe me, they are very expensive. They also have pretty good tickets in the dome, including one of the luxury suites. Leonard is in the best possible hands, bryan cave is at least as good if not better than any other firm in st louis.

I certainly won't try to claim that other attorneys do not over-bill shamelessly.
This is my favorite lawyer joke:
A lawyer dies and goes to the Pearly Gates. Upon seeing St. Peter, he asks: "Am I dead?"
St. Peter responds: "Yes."
The lawyer asks: "How did I die?"
St. Peter answers: "Old age."
The lawyer is shocked and says "Old age! How can that be? I'm only 35!"
St. Peter replies: "Well, adding up all the hours you billed on your timesheets, we have your age at 97."
