Just posted on the Rams' facebook page.

He's certainly not as striking or as charming as Billy D, but we'll see how he does scouting players before I make any judgement.

First impression - uninspiring person, will have to prove himself an inspired hire.

He's also very good at not answering Wagoner's questions and giving his own spin - what he want to get across rather than what NW has asked. I don't know if I like that or I don't. He was very rehearsed.

Dont understand what you guys find wrong in this interview. He seems very honest, doesn't have to be inspiring. He is a man of his words it seems and looks like he wants to win. I am happy with that.

(Although I must say he could use some zinc bloc cream for the nose the next time he's out in the sun)

I liked the interview. I don't think I'd be going out on a limb by saying between this and the press conference it's probably the first time in his professional life that he's really been the center of attention on this level. I don't know about everyone else but a lot of times I feel like my ability to interview well and my ability to do a job well aren't necessarily connected. I really like that he's got a strong scouting background, and I like that he wants his scouts to have strong opinions on players. Hopefully it'll help bring in some talent.
