Let's not forget to give Denver credit

This is a team that enters into the season as a Super Bowl contender and a top choice to be AFC West champion. Not only was Denver second in the league defending the run last year, but also keep in mind that when ranked by opposing QB rating, the Broncos had a top four pass defense last year as well. They boast arguably one of the top groups of linebackers in the league, have an exceptional secondary, and always manage to succeed with their own ground game.

While it would be easy for fans including myself to look at what the Rams couldn't do and put blame on Ram players themselves, let's try and remember that we weren't playing scrubs out there, and sometimes when things didn't go our way, it was due to great execution and talent from the Broncos themselves.

At the very least, by recognizing Denver as a quality team, it only makes the victory that much sweeter! :r

The Rams played a great game and controlled the turnovers and the clock. We dictated the tempo using defence. Extremely proud right now I am in a great mood. Brating a team of this caliber to start the season is great.

It's true. We were, afterall, the underdogs.

Those turnovers, all of them, were totally legit against a solid Denver offense.

And when the Bell RBs successfully ran the ball on some big, long plays, again, it was easy to see the Broncos signature strength: a powerful running game with not-big but very effective OL.

I haven't heard any post-game remarks by the Broncos but I suppose they were surprised to find a Rams D improved to a solid B today!
