There were some good times and good memories alright.

In 1988 my eight year old son approached Jim Everett with a pen and a Rams calendar and he signed it, then posed with him for a picture that I took. This was at Rams Park on a training day and almost all the team signed their autograph on that calendar which we still have. I'd see the players there and would tell my son to ask for their scribble while I took pictures, including HC John Robinson. It was great.

    Thanks again Mikey.

Kurt Warner for me. I actually barely remember seeing him some years before I actualy got in to football. Sadly I wasn't a big Rams fan during his prime days with the Rams.

I've heard the expression before and I understand it is only relative but ... no, it does not apply though I think I know what you mean. Perhaps a cultural reluctancy in my case.

Sorry, RealRam, just teasing, no insult intended (and apologize for not responding earlier, just saw this).

That team was 1 year before I was born actually. But I remember I actually recreated that team in one of the first Madden games - I was a nut and did all the old great teams (learned a heck of a lot that way, had no idea that the '51 Rams Oline was ALL rookies!). But I did the '69 team and put them in a league with other great teams from the pre-80s era and coached them (until they lost to the '62 Packers). Good memories!
