    Linehan comment on Brandon Manumaleuna

    From ProFootballWeekly:

Just because the Rams are looking at adding another tight end via the draft or free agency, donít automatically assume the team is unhappy with current starter Brandon Manumaleuna. ďIíve been pleased with what Iíve seen from Brandon,Ē new Rams head coach Scott Linehan told PFW at the Combine. ďHe just needs a little more balance between blocking and catching balls.Ē
Yeah, he really needs to make sure he concentrates on catching, rather than blocking, the balls thrown to him.

Yea no kidding. Definetly holding onto the ball. Wasn't it this years minnesota game where he caught it and then got tapped from the left side and dropped it?

It seemed like Manu couldn't make a clean grab this season if a defender was within five yards of him.

It was very disappointing to see Manu do so badly after he made that awesome catch against the Seahawks last year in Seattle. The one where he jumped above about three players and caught it in his fingertips to start the ball rolling on our amazing comeback win

And... at his size, there's ALWAYS someone within five yards of him!

That was two years ago, but regardless, is the only memorable moment I have of Manu. That and maybe the fourth down TD catch and run from the ***** game this season.
