I don’t think Marmie could tell Martz, that he can’t take a WR until the 4th round. Even if he’s kinda joking when he says it. Haslett was probably told we would get some Defensive players if you sign on and he meant it. Linehan was asked what the greatest show (offense) would look like with him as head coach. He did not say what it would look like, talked about the need to rebuild the D and ST. And is looking to use Marshal if he comes back.

I think so. The only reason Haslett became the Rams Defensive Coordinator is because he liked Linehan

I forgot to add: Haslett obviously wants to be a Head Coach again somewhere. If he can turn the defense into any thing resembling an NFL unit then he may get a head coaching job after next season. He probably chose the Rams because they cannot possibly get any worse

yeah, I got high hopes for this guy, I think he'll be good this year, and each year, he'll improve. I like Linehan a lot, at first I wanted Ron Rivera, but now I'm actually real happy we got this guy
