Well, maybe not for Torry Holt but the way our draft record has been of recent history, would you have traded these guys for Sheppard?

i don't think trading for sheppard would be any good, since now the rams have 4 corners on the team who were taken fairly high in the draft and brown who is making starter-ish money.

in the past 4 years now these are the corners we've taken:
Bartell - 2nd round
Hill - 1st round
Wade - 3rd round
King - 4th round

unless they think the bartell experiment is over than we have used a lot of high/mid-round draft picks on corners.

I don't think we're after Sheppard any more.

Sheppard might be going to Jacksonville for a few 2009 picks apparently, i doubt Rams would make a similar offer for him

I think that was the rumor BEFORE the draft, because I remember reading one possibility that the Rams could trade Holt for Lito and draft picks, but they also listed several other teams and players (Anquan Boldin and Roy Williams were on there as well).
So unless something else has just come up, this should be an old rumor that died down.

if i have to pay 20 million in guaranteed money to lito, i dont want him for a #7 in 2015. Pay the Big Boy!!!!!
