Little out, Jackson in

The Rams had their entire first defensive unit together in Seattle. But these being the Rams, you knew that wasn’t going to last.
Defensive end Leonard Little won’t be able to play this week because of a torn toe ligament. He will see a foot specialist during the Rams’ bye week and coach Scott Linehan said it was “50-50” whether Little would need surgical repairs during the season.
“It’s a real rare ligament injury,” Linehan said. “It doesn’t happen very often. There were one or two cases in the league last year.”
Victor Adeyanju will start in his place and Trevor Johnson will be active Sunday -– and is likely to play on a lot of passing downs, given Adeyanju’s limitations as a pass rusher.
On the plus side, running back Steven Jackson (torn groin muscle) assured reporters that he was good to go for Sunday’s game with Cleveland.
“Steven looks good,” Linehan said. “We’ll be guarded somewhat as we go, but if we get through this week of practice, there is no reason why he shouldn’t be starting.”
Receiver Drew Bennett also will return to the lineup. “He looks as close to being 100 percent since before he got hurt,” Linehan said.

I don't care who we get back on offense, Jackson, and Bennett won't be able to produce under the line we have because Bulger is always on the ground, and everytime Jackson gets a carry he'll more than likely be stuffed. If anything, I'd say we should stick to a lot of shotgun and have Jackson block.

The browns' defense doesn't scare me nearly as much as our play calling to be honest. I think Jackson's going to rip a few heads off on the way to a hundred yards and a TD at least, even if HE has to call the plays in the huddle.

Re: Little out, Jackson in
I'm just hoping that Steven is at full speed, no need to push it, in a potentially wasted season.

I Agree about the line even though SJ went over a 100 in TB we still got our hat handed to us.:ramlogo:
