Re: Loads of injuries--Manning broken bone
It should be news if brian leonard is not injured. His pick looks about as solid as the selection of jacoby sheppard.
As for pace, we sure need him back.
As for brown, as i mentioned in my post, another moronic move by linehan. How does the head coach cut a starting defensive player without consulting the defensive coordinator. How exactly were we better off with a street free agent than brown? This may be an even worse move than the waiving of hedgehung to take richard owens, another Looserhan special.

Re: Loads of injuries--Manning broken bone
Manning did look good. When a friend and I were in the stands, we kept asking each other who number 27 was until we got a good look at the name. He was mostly coming in for the nickel, but he was in good position in coverage and did a great job when called on to blitz (I know he did so at least twice).

Re: Loads of injuries--Manning broken bone
Manning has shown some decent play with his limited playing time- it's a shame. Apparently, Fahkir Brown's agent is trying to get the Rams to break the bank to bring him back. I think even with Linny gone, there's still some bad blood there. I wouldn't hold your breath that we'll get him back.

Re: Loads of injuries--Manning broken bone
Linehan cutting Brown was like a child getting thrown out of another kid`s party for mis-behaving and then spoiling the cake on the way out,to get even..pure spite!!!
(tho the F.O shouldn`t have allowed it to happen!)
"they" say he`s a nice guy..but "they" said that about charles whitman!

Re: Loads of injuries--Manning broken bone
Well, yes indeed. If the prognosis looks at all bad for Manning(with a broken bone, it will), then we'll just have to get Brown back, one way or another, and unfortunately, this will only spur on his agent's demands for more cash.
As it's been said before, Pace is needed. While it would mean more time for the rookies, I don't want time for the rookies. I wnat Pace out there. Get well OP!

Re: Loads of injuries--Manning broken bone
Losing Orlando Pace for an extended period of time would be bad for us and bad for his career. I hope he recovers shortly and that it was nothing serious.

Re: Loads of injuries--Manning broken bone
We really need to bring Brown back it's by far our best option now with Manning out. He never should have been cut to begin with, but let's forget that for a moment and look at the current situation as it is. As I understand the money issues Brown's salary is guaranteed whether he plays or not, so there is no question we need to give him more money. Nobody works for free and that's what he'd be doing if he came back at the same salary. We shouldn't break the bank of course but he is our best option now and we have to give him some financial reward for coming back and playing so he's making more than he would sitting on the couch. Let's get it done.
