Long And Quinn Set Up To Wreak Havoc On Bills Decimated OL?
Chris Long, Robert Quinn and the rest of the Rams' DL must be licking their chops at the prospects against the Bills OL. The Bills were already shuffling things around after losing starting RT Erik Pears for the rest of the season last month, and they just put OT Chris Hairston, who has started 8 games, on IR. To make matters worse for the Bills, starting C Eric Wood is out 2-4 weeks with a partially torn MCL.
They're not going to get a better opportunity than this to wreak havoc on the opposition. I'd say it's GO TIME for Long and Quinn.

An opportunity to spend some 'quality time' with Fitzpatrick?

Nice! Can we add Brockers into the mix?

Brockers is no doubt going to wreak some havoc of his own on the Bills makeshift center. Looks like they're moving RG Kraig Urbic over there, and inserting rookie David Snow to replace him at RG.
It's nice to see an opponent have to deal with the shuffling nightmares the Rams have so often had to deal with on the OL.

The Rams D line is gonna play a game of red rover with their O line

Quinn and Long, more than any other players, are under my microscope for this particular game.
In recent weeks they haven't been getting as good of pressure as we have come to expect from the two. When they dont get great pressure, our secondary looks weak. Fitzgerald is no Brady but if we give him enough time he will make good things happen for the Bills offense. Our LBs and Safetys need to lockdown there TEs in the red zone as well. Its going to be very difficult to halt the run when they're throwing a healthy dose of Spiller and Jackson at you, so shutting down the pass will be paramount.

Our boys gotta eat good tomorrow! I heard "Bill" tastes a little sweet!

I'm no expert on the Bills O-line, but if I'm seeing this correctly, that would give them a line of:
LT - Cordy Glenn
LG - Andy Levitre
C - David Snow
RG - Kraig Urbak
RT - Sam Young
The Bills have been pretty decent in pass protection with only a 5.1% sack percentage, which is good enough for 11th in the league. Of course, none of that was amassed with Snow and Young starting.

Cordy Glenn is doing terrific (as a rookie). I think Quinn should be able to apply some pressure. As for the other side, Young is going to get eaten up by Long today! Levitre is the key piece there as he is a budding superstar.

I wouldn't get too excited about this makeshift line. The Bills like to run quick, short passing plays, and the Rams love playing their CB's 10 yards off. I imagine the Bills saw that on tape this week and we're going to see even more short slants than they usually run. Which is saying something..They know their line is awful right now, so I wouldn't expect many 7 step drops.
If the Rams want to win today, they have to find a way to get the Bills into longer 3rd down situations than we saw last week.

The Bills do run quick passing plays, but there will be plenty of opportunities to go after Fitz, and the Rams pass rush needs to take advantage.
