What a joke!
Linehan 2.0 very well might include some critical fixes and thus will run much more smoothly.
For instance, the Haslett bug has been eliminated.
The drafting bug may have been worked out.
It may come with several upgrades to it's assistant programs.
Add to that, it will be running on a whole new operating system.
Maybe if you give it a chance, you'll end up liking it a lot better than 1.0.
I've seen this exact same post from you over and over again, and I'm getting really tired of it. I am sure many here are also ...
Please go in detail as to why you think Garrett is the second coming of Linehan, because I don't get the connection. They were both OC's before taking HC jobs, but I think the comparison ends there ...
There is alot more to the team than the HC. I am sure that if Devaney picked Garrett, he picked him for a reason. I am sure there were discussions as to who the OC and DC were going to be, and if Devaney is comfortable, so am I at this point. I have no reason to disagree with Devaney's decision. Fact is, at this point, Ryan, Frazier, Garrett, Spags, they pretty much all have the same HC resume - ABSOLUTELY ZERO!
You see it around the league all the time. Guys that are projected to be good head coaches fail, and vice versa. Tony Dungy doesn't really project as the type you would expect to be a good head coach, but he is great. Some of those outstanding Raven's DC's of years past, that seemed to be great candidates to succeed as HC, have failed ...
I don't know if it's Garrett or not, and he may not be my #1 choice, but I am already warming up to it. I am trying to find out as much about him as possible, and if he is THE MAN, then I am ready to welcome him to town ...
Why the hate towards Garrett anyway? That team was #13 in total yards and scored over 22.5 PPG despite losing some very key players throughout the season ...
I think that so many people believed the so called experts concerning the other candidates that this just seems like a let down. I guess we should all just take a deep breath and relax; myself included...
They say a picture says a thousand words right?

Look at Garrett in comparison to Linehan. You can instantly tell with a first impression that Garrett is seemingly exuding far more confidence than Linehan. He looks upbeat, and alive. Linehan looks like he is headed to prison.
You mean if Garrett is our HC, then it will be the start of
JASON GARRETT 1.0

Confidence...
:D
Yeah, Garrett wasn't my first choice ... or second, but I've been a Ram fan for over 30 years and I will support them wherever they go and whomever is the coach. Some of you guys are SO pessimistic ......
I GUARANTEE we won't be 2-14 or 3-13 next year. If Jason is BD's choice, then so be it. :helmet:
1-15? :D
I really feel deceived as a fan right now...
I am sticking with this team no matter how crappy the pick is, or future picks, but the fact of the matter is, there are candidates who probably should get the job and for some inexplicable reason we keep going back to the OC experiment for head coaches.
My parents have the same problem, whenever we get things done to our house, we try to go the cheap route. Well you know what? My mom hates how it looks after its done and a few months go by and she pays even more money to get whatever was designed to be redesigned.
My point is, we need to try something different. We've tried with the offensive minded head coach, let's give defensive minded coaches a shot. There's 3 defensive guys most fans would support wholeheartedly and THIS is what they do us...
A new owner is really what we need. Sorry Chip.
Completely agree Varg6Quote:

0-16 is within reach...
