Love it when everyone shows the Rams no respect...

Did the supposed analysts even watch the Rams game last week or did they just look at the final score and then a couple of Mike Vick highlights and say oh " Same ole' sorry ass Rams"????

Anyone who watched that game last week would know that the final score did not show the actual game. We were in that game all the way until about mid way through the 4th quarter. If Sam doesn't botch the snap to williams we score that possession instead of letting the eagles score a DEF TD, thats a 10-14pt turnaround. Then the kendricks missed td catch is another 7 instead of 3...

Just do not understand how everyone right off the bat picks NYG this weekend, its pathetic...

Respect isn't garnered when passes are dropped that kill drives. Botched snaps between center and quarterback don't earn much either. It was precisely those errors that took away any chance of our coming out winners over the Eagles ..

We'll have a chance to earn some respect come Monday night. In the meantime, if the "pundits" want to pick the Giants to win, more power to them. If we can eliminate sloppy play, and push the Giants around in their own house, then we'll earn some respect and win our first game ..

Honestly I think we looked worse in that game than the score indicated. Our OL was terrible pretty much across the board in pass protection, our WR dropped everything that came to them, Bradford was as inaccurate as I've seen him, our DL got no penetration, and our LB looked lost. The only players who looked good were our RBs.

If the Eagles hadn't made their own share of mistakes and got some costly penalties that let us continue our drives after failed 3rd down conversions we wouldn't have even been that close. I also think we outcoached them on both sides of the ball. In the end, though, we just couldn't execute.

Ive all ready posted on a similar thread, and have come up with an almost identical conclusion.!
The score could have been different, if Bradford didnt fumble.? Its 24-19 Eagles. I assumed the Rams would have scored 3 points on that drive at least.? Add Josh Browns missed field goal to it, and their you have it. Most fans will just look at the scoreline and assume a beatdown. The Rams offense must help out our D this week, their not good enough to hang in their for a full game if the O doesnt give them a breather.? Lets be honest here though, I know the Eagles had it within them to up it a gear if they needed to! We lost, fair and square. It wasnt an embarrassment by any means. The stats of the game show a one sided beatdown. Over 200 yards rushing by any team looks real bad.?

86.6% of Bradford's passes hit his receivers on the hands that game. If our receivers actually kept the drives alive, we'd have a whole different story on our offense.

The media is never cutting edge on calling beginning of recession nor the end of it. Same thing here.
Rams being combined 13-52 since 2007 they are all (no pun intended) just sheep. It will all change when we actually do something for a sustained period of time. But, we know different

Bruce, certainally you're not shocked that the Rams are 'dogs'? It's not pathetic, until the Rams can put a string of convincing wins together, against forminable opponets, everyone will be always 'Right off the bat' with their picks against the Rams. Its the 'Same ole' for the Rams , "Keeping it close for three quarters", "Botched plays", "dropped passes", "Injuries" prevented the team from winning. Whats pathetic is the Rams ScoreBoard. Alway close but no cigars, Almost only counts in Horseshoes. Simple, to change peoples picks of the Rams, they, the Rams themselves, must reclaim the SCOREBOARD!

Accuracy is not just about hitting the hands of your receivers. One play in particular I'm remembering featured Bradford throwing to a wide-open Bajema, who caught the ball but had to break stride to catch it. That shows up as a reception in the stat sheet but was an inaccurate ball. With the number of dump-off/short route passes we saw you should expect the vast majority of them to hit his receivers, but that doesn't make them good throws.
