    Yep, these types of signings are pretty routine and expected, not only to provide camp bodies, but as insurance for unforseen situations like say, being without both starting corners going into week two of the season.

    I'd rather draft our next receiver in the 2nd or 3rd this year. Besides, Caldwell's eyes just plain freak me out. I don't want to have to look at them every week. At least he's not going to be handed a job and will have to compete for one.

    I'm not getting worked up about this by any stretch of the imagination.

    I'm just saying he got whipped alot by the Rams when he was with the Cardinals so let's don't have 50 "great signing" threads either.
