    Re: Magic Health Pills (2007)

    1. Steven Jackson - He's the centerpiece of the offense and was able to handle a big load last season, something he can't repeat year after year. That combined with his style of running - upright and hitting defenders as hard or harder than they hit him - makes him an obvious injury risk. Behind him there are no proven players capable of handling such a workload and we cannot afford to lose his productivity.

    2. Leonard Little - All hopes of having a decent D-Line flushes down the toilet if Little is unable to play. Without Little's ferocious pass rush and ability to take on double-teams to make the others' jobs easier, I can't see anyone else who could potentially fill his shoes and keep the line at least average.

    3. Torry Holt - Our offense has a lot of talent on paper, but without Holt I believe the long-ball threat is non-existent. With Big Game out of the lineup, even considering all the other pass-catchers the roster is crammed with, the O becomes slow and Bulger is forced to dink and dunk.

    * Marc Bulger.

    * Steven Jackson.

    * Torry Holt.

    Leonard Little is of course the mainstay of our DL -- and key defensive player -- but ... I'm feeling a bit more confident that Hall, Carriker, and Adeyanju and the rest of the DL with current prospects ... might hold the fort better than last year's overall performance, thus sparing the last pill for a big WR name.

    PS: can I give these health pills with Vitamin Water?

    I thought you were going to provide an order link.

    I would give it to:

    Bulger

    Little

    Jackson

    Re: Magic Health Pills (2007)

    Bulger and Holt seem like no-brainers to pick on this, but in reality, we could still compete on offense with Gus Frerotte and Steven Jackson, and the other receivers. Not our ideal offense, but we could run an offense around SJ, and still pass it around to Bruce, Bennett, McMichael and Looker, or whoever.

    So probably the pills need to go to areas where we don't have much depth, even if it's not the best players.

    I would give one to Will Witherspoon, because any LB injury would be bad, especially him.

    Also a Safety and a D'linemen. Either Safety, and one of our DT's. Perhaps Otogwe and Carricker, since Carricker can play 2 positions, he's probably more valuable in case someone else goes down.

    I hate to go all offense but these are our three best players.
    Bulger
    Holt
    Jackson

    These are our 3 best players. All three have the best chance of making the Probowl next year.

    1. Jackson(no question) Everyone keeps bringing up the D line and LB's and lack of backups, while DL is our biggest weakness, we lose jackson and all of a sudden team now we are going to pass because our run game is extremly weak.
    2. Bulger
    3. Leonard Little, teams have to put 2 guys on him which helps us out a lot IMO
